Week 1: Doodle/Zentangle Drawing Design
IMPORTANT: Students use your CPS email when sending your project to me. INCLUDE the following in your email subject: your name, homeroom #, and 'yes' or 'no' if you want your art posted on the student artwork page of this website.
Materials needed:
-sheet of paper any size (copy paper, line paper, construction paper, or notebook paper)
-pencil
-markers, crayons, and or colored pencils

Directions: (This project can be done individually or with your family.)
Step 1: Watch the video link above on Mr. Doodle and Ms. Rowland.
Step 2: Get a sheet of paper (copy paper, line paper, construction paper, or notebook paper).
Step 3: Draw random shapes, images, and or words with pencil or black marker/crayon. You can also choose a theme for your drawing: things you like, favorite foods or animals, and or inspiring words. If you start with a pencil, then trace with a black marker or crayon.
Step 4: Continue adding random shapes and images throughout your overall composition (the entire paper). Fill in all the empty spaces.
Step 5: Begin adding color throughout. You can use markers, crayons, and or colored pencils.
Step 6: Show off your art to your family by displaying it somewhere in your home.
