Directions: (This project can be done individually or with your family.)
Step 1: Watch the video link above on Ms. Rowland.
Step 2: Get your cardboard collagraph you made from week 3 and cover it with aluminum foil.
Step 3: Rub around all the shapes on the foil covered collagraph revealing your image.
Step 4: Color on top of the foil covered collagraph using washable markers.
Step 5: Then get a blank sheet of paper (line paper, copy paper, or sketch paper) and dampen it using a paper towel or sponge dipped in water.
Step 6: Once the paper is damp, place it (wet side down) on top of the colored foil covered collagraph.
Step 7: Rub all around the paper and the shapes making sure it prints onto the damp side of the paper.
Step 8: Then carefully remove the paper off the collagraph to reveal your print. Let dry. Take a picture of your collagraph print and email it to me.

Week 4: Alternative Art Project:
Shape Design using geometric and organic shapes.
(If you don't have the materials for doing the week 4 video lesson, you can do this project instead.)
You can create this using paper and any drawing materials or you can use any digital drawing program or app of your choice. For the project, create a drawing using a variety of geometric and organic shapes. The overall design can be abstract (where it doesn't have to look like something you recognize) or it can have a theme (example: cityscape or nature spring scene). Add color to it using your choice of materials.
