Week 8 : Clay Relief Project

Directions: (This project can be done individually or with your family. Make sure you ask an adult for permission to use the ingredients before you do the project.)
Step 1: Watch the video link above on Ms. Rowland.
Step 2: Lay out your clay into a design onto a piece of cardboard. You can use coil or slab technique.
Step 3: Let it dry for 1-2 days and then glue down onto the cardboard.
Step 4: Then add color if you'd like to with either paint, markers, crayons, or oil pastels. You can play around with contrast through light/dark colors or warm/cool colors.

Summer Time Drawing
(If you don't have the materials for doing the week 8 video lesson, you can do this project instead.)
You can create this using paper and any drawing materials or you can use any digital drawing program or app of your choice. For the project, create a drawing of something you enjoy about summer time. Be creative with it and have fun!
